Custom Shen Gong metal Cermet Turning Inserts specially designed for turning operations Factory, Factories

Metal-ceramic turning inserts are specifically designed for high-precision and high-surface-finish turning operations. Suitable for semi-finishing to ultra-finishing of materials such as stainless steel, alloy steel, and cast iron, they significantly improve surface quality (Ra ≤ 0.4 μm) and extend tool life.

Product Description

Detailed Description
Slitting knives are established under the ISO9001 standard system; they are made by combining TiC/TiN ceramic particles with nickel/molybdenum metal binders and are sintered at 1450°C to form a dense microstructure. They are further coated with PVD to reduce the friction coefficient and enhance the edge's resistance to chipping. Precision tool tip design to meet continuous turning machining. They come in material grades such as SC10-SC50, meeting the requirements for processing various materials and precision parts.
Key Features
Hardness: 91-94 HRA, with high strength and wear resistance, the lifespan of a single blade is extended.
High-temperature resistance: 1400°C, suitable for high-speed cutting (Vc = 300-500m/min), increasing processing efficiency by 40%.
Chemical stability: Resistant to oxidation, diffusion wear, and no built-up edge when machining stainless steel.
Edge sharpness: Achieves mirror turning (Ra ≤ 0.4μm), eliminating the need for polishing and reducing costs by 30%.
Low friction: Reduces cutting heat, protects the material properties of the workpiece, and prevents thermal deformation of parts.
